I made this card for this week's color challenge. Stef is our hostess and she chose the colors of Mango Melody, Grapefruit Grove and Shaded Spruce. I do not have any of these colors so I had to get creative with my Stampinup ink swatches and the color swatches in the StampinUp catalog, and I believe I came pretty close. This card involved a LOT of masking and is made entirely with multi-step stamps so lots of stamping too. I honestly love masking and watching the scene come to life. When I was done with the card it still needed something, but I was reluctant to add a sentiment so I went with a butterfly instead. I colored my butterfly with alcohol markers and punched it out with the coordinating punch. I still felt the card needed something so I die cut the oval out of the center of the image and popped it up on fun foam so the middle is higher than the outside of the image. This card was really fun to make using this week's colors. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

I see we used some of the same colors, Karen, since I didn't have these new colors either. Your butterfly was a great choice since it seems to pull the greens together so beautifully! Lovely gems and pretty stitched oval....Beautiful card!

Wow, this is a stunner! I love the addition of your butterfly - gives a perfect pop with the black outline and coordinating colors. This would work well for the Fusion card challenge - Citrus.
