For this challenge, I pulled out a set of heart & star clear stamps and stamped them into a Christmas tree shape. This would have been much easier, I think, if I had a Misti! I filled in some spaces with misc. wood mounted heart stamps. When I was happy with the tree, I fussy cut it out, and decorated with sequins, heart, round and star shaped. I added Glossy Accents and Stickles to make the images pop. I stamped the star tree topper with Versamark, and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Fussy cut out the star, and added a pink star sequin in the middle. Cut a piece of glitter cs to size, then used Pixie Powders and a sponge dauber to color the background for contrast. Mounted tree & star using dimensionals, and added a gold Believe word sticker.
If I had a Misti, designing the heart tree would have been simpler- it could have been stamped in one go. I want to thank the Misti Monday folks for getting me to think outside the box on this one! It was a lot of fun trying to use a non-Christmas stamp set to make a Christmas card. Hope you enjoy my first effort at a Misti Monday challenge!!!
