Our Featured Stamper has a beautiful gallery. I chose this card of Angelica's to CASE. I chose it because it reminded me of some swirly stamps that I have, but as I was looking for those stamps, I came across these feathers that I bought on clearance at Hobby Lobby and thought they'd make a great sympathy card. So I stamped and embossed them falling down the side of the paper. Then I dug into my scrap basket and found this Alcohol Ink Background that I thought would look really nice behind it. Funny thing is, I almost talked myself out of using this background. I really like it and I keep "saving" it. Why do I always do that? I sponged the edge with Milled Lavender and stamped the sentiment and more feathers in Rich Cocoa. I needed to finish with some embellishments because Angelica's cards always have such flair to them. So I stuck this doily behind the feather panel, wrapped some silver cord and stuck a tiny rhinestone on. Thanks for the inspiration, Angelica!
