Thank you, Brenda for the site Just for Fun Flags to inspire us this Saturday. There were quite a few flags I wanted to purchase for my home...but I decided I'd just create art instead. This one gave me inspiration. I've a friend who recently reminded me of the phrase, HIS story, history. And I wanted to create a card that would say just that!
The Darice Cross embossing folder speaks the words very dear to me. And the children's saying to teach the order of colors in a Rainbow came rushing back to me as I thought of teaching the boys.
Rainbows~Over~You~God's~Blessed~Vow.
I added the tag as a reminder all those words on the cross are words that speak life into history. I am exceedingly glad it is HIS story.
Have a marvelous Fall weekend, all.

This is such an awesome cross and I love all the words. It is great when we are making a card that gives us sweet memories. I love your wonderful inspiration, too. Go ahead and order a few flags. I give you permission.

This is so pretty and a timeless message goes with it! I love the story as much as I love the card. I never heard that saying for the colors of the rainbow, but I like it way better than "ROY G. BIV". Your gelato rubbing on the cross is just right and the tag with the key is the perfect reminder that the Lord is the key to life. Thanks for the inspiration!

Gulp! Susan this is so beautiful!!! Our pastor often mentions that the whole book is His story! I am currently doing a study on the Patriarchs and we recently studied that Hagar named God, the God who sees. Isn't that cool? I just love that. I love the rainbow on your card emphasizing the words that describe faith! Beautifully done!

Wow, a powerful message on this beautiful card. Our history, is also His story of who He created us to be, and the journey we are in becoming that!!!
It is so good to have you back in the galleries and your inspiration of thoughts and art have a powerful punch!!
