I think maybe this qualifies for the CT0918 challenge as well because I fussy cut the flowers and leaves for this card. Having been a kindergarten teacher for 20 years, I thought the contrast of the torn paper and the fussy cut depicted the progression of skills that I saw as a teacher. Little ones who got frustrated with scissors ended up with more of a chewed up torn look along their edges in the early stages of scissor skills developing.

What a fun, happy card this is! I really enjoyed reading about your days as a kindergarten teacher. My friend works with kindergartener's too, and she loves to tear paper as well...this is something I never think to do, and yet I love the look of it so thank you for the great inspiration today. ~Karen.

Here's another pretty card using older stamp sets, and I'm all for that cuz there are some I just won't part with. I really like seeing the torn edges, Liz....it gives a nice distressed look to the card while the cut flowers and leaves give a more defined look~ Well done!
