For this week's Alphabet Challenge, we were on the letter H. Since this week is the big rodeo week where I grew up, I went with this rodeo image of a horse and rider.
I punched out five of the paisleys and put them down as a mask along the side and then sponged Fired Brick all over the front. Unfortunately, my 2 way glue didn't hold the first paisley down very well so I had a sponging incident up there.
After covering the front with Fired Brick, I removed the paisley masks. Do you recognize this week's sketch challenge?
I heat embossed this fabulous rodeo image designed by Dina and heat embossed and punched the sentiment. After adding doodling with a white gel pen and bit with a black marker, I popped the sentiment up. Then I decided it needed something more. So I added the hill stamp from Sheltering Tree beneath the horse.
Thanks for looking and let'er buck!

Love the embossed horse image! And perfect for happy together! The paisley and dotted lines around the card remind me of a cowboy kerchief. Such great detail, Catherine!

Oh Catherine, this is such a fantastic anniversary card. Cowboys and Paisley go together making this a perfect anniversary card. You did a beautiful job with your sponging, embossing and white gel pen work- it all adds up to a wonderful card. I also love that this honors the big rodeo in the hometown where you grew up. ~Karen.
