I was happy to see Toni's challenge this week for Ways To Use It. While I love flowers, this image from Marcella Hawley includes some ripe persimmons. Thanks, Toni, for a fun challenge!
It's been a fun week at Power Poppy with the new clear stamp release, and the Bloom Brigade always delights us (and enable us). Later today Marcella Hawley will be sharing this new Instant Garden digital release that I was able to color up. I decided to use the full digital image with the sweet pitcher filled with flowers, berries, and some ripe persimmons. I colored on X-Press It Blending card and kept a simple layout. I added a birthday sentiment for a friend who loves flowers and is celebrating a birthday next week. For the blue mat, I used BG72 on Baja Breeze to match my pitcher color, and of course used my Mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment. I think life is beginning to get back to normal to some degree, but we still have a lot of cleaning after the bathroom renovation. I'm also hoping to purge more during the cleaning process. That's always a good thing, right? LOL!
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful weekend! Hugs! xoxo

A stunner, Cheryl. I especially love those persimmons in the image. The coloring is fabulous...need I even say that? It always is over the top. You're purging and we are purging in the garage....finally. It really needed it and have a ways to go.

What a beautiful autumn bouquet. I've only seen persimmons in a store here once, and I decided that they probably weren't worth buying because who knew when they'd been picked and if they were properly ripe. I very occasionally have got ripe figs there but usually they're not worth it. I do think they're such beautiful fruit, though, and they look fabulous with the beautiful flowers...I was going to say sunflowers on first impression but they look more like rudbeckia...and the blue of the pitcher for contrast.

Super power poppy image and gorgeous coloring as always Cheryl. I have a couple of new power poppy images and really need to get them inked up and color them. They are stunning images and I totally love this one too.

Wow, Cheryl! I'm so glad that you were able to play this week! This is a beautifully colored image. I don't think I have any other persimmons in this week's challenge gallery, so it's unique as well!

Cheryl, Awesome job on the coloring! Love the country feel of the pitcher and sunflowers! We picked wild persimmons when I was in school along the country roads!
Your card is gorgeous!
