This might not seem like a back to school card but it's specially made for my g-nephew Finn. He's in 4th grade and on the Austism spectrum. In recent months he's fallen in love with classical music. He listens to it on YouTube and finds apps for classical music. Can you tell who is his favorite? He's obsessed with Beethoven. I plan on giving this to him today after school and telling him that Ludwig and I are wishing him well this school year.
This is also for today's WT to show a job or profession....composer (I wasn't sure if Icon was a profession-lol)

That fold is fabulous, Polly - almost like a little shrine . I think Schroeder would like a card like this!! I know my nephew quite enjoys classical music too and picked up the keyboard a while back, but I don't think it's a deep interest for him.

Polly what a great card for your grandson and composer is totally a perfect profession! My son loves so many classical composers and their pieces and Beethoven is one of his favorites too. Super card for both challenges.

My DS had to choose a humanities course in college (Math major), and took a course on Beethoven.......he loved it!! Don't we all enjoy even a few notes of Moonlight sonata? Love your musical card!!

I love your fabulous card, Polly! I considered doing a Beethoven card as well, but then went to piano lessons. ( My son loved all the classical composers until high school when he wanted to learn jazz.) I think it is great that there are kids that love great music composers! He is sure to love your card!

Wow, Polly...so much to linger with your card. Love the keyboard overlaid on the score...and Beethoven to boot! The fold is interesting as are those scallop. I think our icon's are perfect for the WT today. Finn will love this.
