The challenge Judy gave us this week was definitely one I would not do every day, but I really did enjoy it. OK, except the part where I added glitter to my sheet but then decided I needed to stencil and elbows over it. Glitter stuck to everything - Remember ADD Glitter LAST!
I tore up three different yellow and gold scraps of DP, glued them down and then decided since there was some wet glue in between bits that I should add glitter so it would form sparkly little veins in between pieces. That was the mistake. The veins were there but by the time I stamped and stenciled and clear embossed (yes, I had to wipe glitter off everything) most of the glitter had either been removed or at least moved. But there is still quite a bit in there that doesn't really show in the photo. I also clear embossed my die cut leaf so it would have the same shine as the panel. Then for an image I stamped the birds on vellum and fussy cut them so the background would still show. It is shiny and sparkly IRL!

Love the sparkle and shine, Pat. There's some glitter on mine but I think none of it showed by the time I was finished, so it was a need for not much tangible result for me. I'm glad more stayed showing for you.

This is a beauty, Pat! I love the glitter around your pieces...love the sparkle. Your birds on vellum was a super touch! Very pretty, eye-catching card!

How beautiful Pat! I love the sparkle and sheen all over this card, it is so pretty. The bg colors are a cheery and wonderful backdrop for the branch and nest. I really like the embossed leaf, too!
