I made this card for this weeks color challenge, but first I want to thank the Color Team for asking me to be a guest hostess for the month of September. Stef is our hostess and she has chosen gorgeous colors for us to use which are Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Soft Seafoam. I do not currently have any of these colors, but they are on my wish list for sure. I substituted using the inks listed in the description. The image was water colored using a blender pen and various inks. I use so many plain rectangle dies in my card making that I thought it would be nice to use a decorative die this time. The flower image fit in the open space perfectly so I was quite pleased with this. The lavender mat layer was stamped 4 times using a woodgrain bg stamp. Dessert this week is to use twine or a ribbon. This beautiful dotted ribbon was gifted to me by my scs friend Liz and I was so delighted to use it on this card. Thank you Liz- this ribbon is a dream to tie up. Hopefully, you can play along this week with us. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

I so love that sentiment banner and the sunflower you've colored so beautifully! The die cut rectangle with the filagree corners and the woodgrain stamped background add such lovely details, as does that pretty ribbon!

OH I just LOVE your sentiment...lovely thought...I make little inspirational poster at work to decorate the boring walls a bit. Besides coloring on my lunch break helps relieve the stress, relaxes one, as we all know with crafting...:0)..This would be another idea to use..and so pretty bordered with the lacey corners and pretty flower. I lie how you did the bg with a wood designed purple...nice....TFs..:0)
