This is my sample for CC703. Stef is our hostess and she chose gorgeous grape, heather highland, soft seafoam and balmy blue for her color palette. These are all new Stampin-Up colors. Love-love-love!!! Dessert Option this week is ribbon or twine. I didn't have a place for it on my card, so I skipped it this week.
I thought these colors would look good on this new Snowman Lane die from CottageCutz. So, I went with a winter scene.
I used the challenge colors for their hats and scarf. No soft seafoam yet so I subbed pistachio pudding. The CottageCutz die set has all the pieces I used including the clouds and little snowflakes.
For the snowbank, snow on the fence, mailbox and pole, I used white glitter paper. On the clouds and snowflakes, I used clear wink of stella.
The sentiment is from Penny Black's "snowflake sentiments" set.
That's my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with us. Stef gave us a great color palette and we are getting to use the new colors from Stampin'-Up. But, if you don't have them, use what's in your stash that's close.

Mary, your CottageCutz snow people are adorable. I especially like the snow sitting on top of the fence and mailbox. That gives such a realistic look to the scene! What a great sentiment for the front of the card, too!

Mary, I swooned when I saw this wonderful card in the gallery. What a fabulous snow family with an equally fabulous sentiment. The glittery snow is such a lovely touch to this wintery scene. I am enjoying how you are using the balmy blue as the main focal color and the other colors as your accent colors. What a fun card to see in the gallery today Mary. ~Karen.
