August seems like a blur. It was one of those crazy months for us. We had a tub/shower renovated to a walk-in shower, and it is nearly done - after almost six weeks (with so many delays and issues). We'll be so happy to be able to use it later this week. Sigh.
But I did find time to make a Christmas card for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge for September. I had started to use this sweet little angel for August and got sidetracked repeatedly. I was determined to finish it for this month's challenge, and it still worked. Coloring is done using Copic markers and some added pencil coloring. I went very CAS and matted the layers with red and popped the focal image over a sweet holly embossed base (to match the holly in her hair).
Thanks, Stacy, for another great challenge for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I am so happy to be making Christmas cards throughout the year! My stash is growing all the time, and I love it!
A big thanks for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week and a happy September! Hugs, all! xoxo

There just couldn't be a more precious card for Christmas. The little angel is just adorable and I love that it is CAS. Glad you are seeing the end of another renovation. It's all so hard to go through.

Oh what a very sweet Christmas cards, Cheryl. The thin red matting to go with the little holly berries in the adorable Angeles hair looks fantastic. The ef you used is perfect. This will certainly brighten someone's Christmas.
Cheryl, this is darling! Such a sweet little angel! I love how her hands are clasped together! Love the clean but elegant framing which allows all the attention to be focused on the sweet angel.

Gorgeous little LOTV angel. Beautifully framed - as always - with all the layers. Renovations - yuck - a necessary evil at times - but worth all the frustration in the end.

This is beautiful! I love the touch of red and the layers of white on your card. The angel is colored perfectly and so smooth in your blending. I think I'm going to try making a card with this layout and embossing - it's very inspiring! Hope you're re-modling job in the bath is going well. I bet you'll be super excited when that's finished and can enjoy it.
