Yesterday and today we are challenged to go back a little in our stamping and use real leaves and then write our own sentiment for today! I used my leaves and then used the baby wipe I had cleaned the ink off my gloves with to dab some color on the parts of the panel that were still white. I like my leaves (I should say mother nature's leaves), but I am not keen on how my lettering turned out! Lots more practice in my future before brush lettering is going on any more cards!

Awesome leaf stamping! Love the colors and the deep impressions you achieved. Best take on this technique I have seen so far. I like your hand-written sentiment. It is cute. Just the right size and thickness of lettering to stand out on your leaf panel. Fabulous card! TFS

Love your leaves, Pat! Such beautiful, vibrant colors...love the feathery look you've achieved with the veins standing out. I, too, think your sentiment writing is great...we are always hardest on ourselves!

I know you said in your comment on Robin's card or post that maybe you shouldn't have gone collage style, but I'm glad you did, I think it's beautiful. It's like a drift of leaves on the ground. Clever idea to use the baby-wipe to add some extra colour.
Even when we were learning to write in school and transitioning from script to joined-up writing, my teacher told me to stick with script. So I don't think hand-lettering is anywhere in my future.
