For Janelle's Impressible Stamp MIXed media challenge. I did my best - there is a faint impression. I got a better one on my first attempt which I left pressing under a dictionary while at work - but the stamping hadn't come out perfectly on it, and the impression distorted it too much to line the stamp back up on. So this is the third attempt. As per Janelle's directions I misted some (watercolour) paper both sides, then laid it down on top of my inked sentiment stamp. Added two layers of fun foam and then pressed firmly for a few minutes with an acrylic block. I misted it with some homemade misters just to add a little colour, and tore it to fit the card.
The base layer was a failed experiment for a possible TLC. It's tissue paper coloured with Brushos, then stamped when dry with a couple of butterflies from Papillon Potpourri in assorted inks. I stuck it to a piece of embossed card but the embossing didn't really show, so I put it back in the ef and ran it through the Big Shot again. This time the embossing was properly defined, so I highlighted it all with some metallic and luster rub-ons. Added some white dots and edged it with a gold pen.
The butterfly was stamped with black on vellum, then coloured from the back and front with assorted acrylic mists and sprays, then I added Stickles on the body. Second butterfly, the first one is a glittering sparkling one which didn't look right on the card.

What an elaborate and wonderful background you created Sabrina! It's like you did every kind of technique you could think of on it - and it came out wonderfully the perfect background for your impressed sentiment! (I had trouble too!)
