a few years ago found mushrooms in yard---they grow every year there, well, wore thin gloves picked the ones that had like separate lines of spines covering the bottom part of mushroom and took white card stock, inked up the bottom of mushroom gently and stamped down gently and sorta rotating in a circle and worked great--did them in different colors and set aside---found them when looking for old things for card challenge, I cut the mushroom flower out with fancy scissors--had 2 flowers, used glue dots to put the 2 flowers together, then die cut a scalloped white circle, sponged edges, put in center of flower then had a button punch never used so used an old orange like fun foam piece and punched out the button added twine to the holes and put onto scallop---added stickles to flower when done. Have orange base, then blue mulberry piece, put flower in the center added the 4 stamped words around the flower and added half pearls. One, unless told, would never know the flowers were stamped with real mushrooms. I washed hands good even though used gloves just in case.

You are always great with your decorative scissors and sentiments, they worked great for the flower too. And oh my, how creative and so beautiful! I remember when I was young I used to like making prints with the spores from mushrooms and ferns. I thought that was where you were going when I started reading. The flower is so delicate and absolutely beautiful.

I am totally impressed with you using real mushrooms to stamp your flower pieces here. This turned out so beautifully, especially, with the frilly edges you used to fussy cut the pieces out with. The color is so striking on this dark background too. What a wonderfully feminine card this is made in a very nontraditional way. ~Karen.

Your mushroom flowers look so cool. Great idea to to turm into flowers with a decorative scissors. We moved about a year ago, and the garden here has the most amazing variety of mushrooms cropping up.... Maybe I should try stamping with them.
