This is one of the cards I made as a sample for this week's WTUI challenge, which you will be able to find HERE. See the challenge post for a link to the TLC tutorial I used.
For the main layer I used leaves from garden inked with DOX inks - fossilized amber, forest moss, wild honey; laid these on my paper and ran it through the Big Shot. Gesso stencilled on through a mesh stencil. Verve sentiment stamped in Rangers Archival black.
Edges distressed, then popped up on a layer of foam.
LOTV Little Acorn was stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Inktense pencils and fussy cut. Twine and a button detail finish it off.
Funny, because for my other card I really needed a contrasting background to my leaves, but here I like that the little bunny in his acorn cup are similar tones to the background.

I like the results of using DOX inks for your leaf collage, Sabrina, and I especially like the added texture from the stenciled gesso. The little bunny is fabulously colored and so sweet peeking out of the acorn.

Love your duoprint inked leaves to create your background....great color combination. Such a sweet baby bunny nesting in the little acorn. Beautiful and darling card all rolled into one!
