There are two hard things about this card (after figuring out the correct dimensions for 8.5 x 11 card stock because I wanted it to work for the regular size). The first hard thing is envisioning the card and knowing what colors to make the different card stock cuts. (You get better at this after you've made a few.) The second hard thing is finding things small enough to use on the Bench Card. That is usually possible it just takes time and a lot of fussy cutting.
The banner was hand cut.
The fountain was stamped on a window sheet and on Smoky Slate. The gray was cut out and glued on front of the window sheet. Birds were colored with markers and the water droplets enhanced with Wink of Stella.
Close-up shows dishes of bird seed (which is actually a spice and herb mix from my pantry) on the bench.
This is for a friend's birthday. She loves birds and purple and is going into a new situation this semester. I thought she would need some things she loves nearby.
Modified dimensions for starting with 8 1/2 x 11 paper:
Card base: 4 1/4 x 11 (Almost Amethyst here)
Coordinating Color for Wainscoting: 2 x 7 1/4 (white fence here)
Counter Top: 3 1/4 x 3 7/8 (Eggplant here--and mounted behind instead of in front)
Brace: 4 1/4 x 3/4 (doesn't show, but is mounted to the Amethyst)
Finished and closed the card measures: 4 1/4 x 5 1/4 (so it's 1/4 inch shorter than a normal A2.)

Your hard work paid off! Adjusting dimensions to meet your needs can be a real pain -- but what a beautiful result. You did a great job with the perspective. And your fussy cutting of that detailed head plumage is very impressive!
