My schedule is so full that I don't even have time to write! When I saw this week's teapot challenge though I just stopped what I was doing and pulled out my embellishment drawer! I have so many things I bought on clearance thinking I would use but have never found the right project! Today was the day! I purchased this kit at Peachy Cheap years ago!! It's fun because everything coordinates with the papers!
Since I LOVE cookies I added more than one embellishment! Oh, yes, I want the cookies! I added two resin flowers, the ceramic pin, and with a little delicate removal of a harsh green layer, the butterfly sticker.
The card is a Double Pocket card which was a lot of fun to create. I decided not to add anything to the top pocket because I really wanted some of the pretty paper to show!
(I am late so I will stop by later and comment on everyone's fabulous teapotter cards and add links to the Double Pocket tutorial but you can find it in the SCS tutorials)
The sentiment on the tag is Simply Wonderful by Picket Fence Studios and I used more of that set on the inside!
Stop by my blog to view the inside!

Oh, Angie, you get a whole box of cookies for this little nostalgia trip! How much fun is this? I remember those kits and accessories. You really did a great job of making what is old new again! Thanks for pausing and playing with us.

Angie - this is so much fun! I'll have to try to make sure you mail within the US, I don't want to think about how much international would cost with those wonderful embellishments. You certainly deserve the cookies. That little pin is just dinky - it's almost like a little fan or something. Love the pockets.

Awesome job with the vintage-looking embellishments. I like how you've paired them with that sort of tailored-looking paper at the bottom for contrast. And happy to learn I am not the only person who scoops up clearance items with the best intentions.

What a beautiful card this is Angie, and a wonderful walk down memory lane too! I am a stickler for hat pins and your hairpin here delighted me so much! I love the colors, the roses, butterfly and double pocket card design too. I am chuckling about you dropping everything for this fabulous challenge this week- fun! ~Karen.
