Yes, I was AMAZED at some things I found digging around in my stash. I am normally one who cleans out a couple times a year but I still have some golden oldies. I loved the challenge because I was AMAZED at how little we had to work with years ago and how we would get so excited when something new came out like INCHIES, SLIDE FRAMES, AND MESH! I remember when mesh was all the rage. How the heck did we attach that stuff and how did we mail these cards?

Oh, this is so elegant and classy my friend! I love these gorgeous mod roses paired with mesh (how fun!), inchies and a slide frame. You have used your oldie but goodie items in a new and modern way to make a gorgeous card! ~Karen.

Wow great work! I had to go and check out the challenge when I saw your notes. You did a great job digging to the bottom of the box. I have some of those slide frames and didn't know how to work with them. Your "hello" looks great, I will have to use it as inspiration. TFS!

I have some of that mesh and I have NEVER used it. You made it look fresh with the die-cut sentiment and modern looking paper. Great job with the challenge.

Slide frames - my goodness! I remember wanting some of those and all I had was my dad's old cardboard ones. Mesh I still like the look of. I think what you've created here is a totally modern card with a retro vibe, nothing dated about how it looks. The single red flower on the background is so effective, perfectly "meshing" with the ensemble.
