Today we had One Kings Lane to be inspired by for the Inspiration Challenge.
I was inspired by this Eleanor Rigby Wallpaper, Storm - it reminded me of this super large Glorious Bouquet stamp I have.
I first stamped the image on a panel with Adirondack Snow Cap ink - thinking it would give me a great white image - but no, you could hardly see it on the gray (!?!) - so I quickly covered it with white embossing powder and embossed it - and it showed up nicely! (I don't know why I keep buying white inks??!)
I die cut the panel with a Pierced Feature Frame die but adhered both pieces flat on my Soft Stone card base (rather than raising the outside frame).
I stamped the sentiment on a dark gray strip in black and layered it over the image with foam dots.

That is such a beautiful stamp and glad you could emboss and bring it out after the inking didn't work. It makes a wonderful sympathy card.

Beautiful case of your inspiration, Julia - you really captured the essence of that wallpaper with the embossing on gray. I like the subtle look of your inlaid frames.
