Good grief! I worked out my list of September birthdays last night and I had twenty on my list. How did that happen? Made quite a dent in my stash, so I'm filling it up again.
This is actually a bunch of recycling. The emboss resist piece on red used to have a shaker element on it, but it didn't shake well so I never sent it. Today I pulled that off, but had to cover where the card hard torn. The bird panel was actually on a piece of old, and beautiful, watercolour paper, and was just the stamping. I was using some of the piece of paper for something else, and this came in contact with my leftover plate of shaving foam - and looked great. So I smooshed it all over into the foam to colour it, then edged it with a black pen and added the sentiment.
To give it something new, I used the Faux metal tutorial using several layers of gold EP on a punched circle. Then I stamped the Chinese character, and antiqued it with some patina. Tucked some gold ribbon under it and added it to the card. Oh - and the photo corners were new too, just punched, embossed and buffed with Craft-T luster rub-ons.
