I made this for this week's CC701 A Crazed and Crushed Pumpkin in the Meadow with dessert being early autumn (yes, please!), and TLC704 Pairing Fonts.
Still need lots of watercolor practice, but having fun doing it! The apple image was stamped in black stazon and then watercolored with distress stains. I used a little peeled paint ink for a tad more intensity in some of the leaf areas. The flower buds are a diluted barn door to give a pink hue, and the branch is a blend of the green and red and a touch of yellow or orange colors I worked with. I wasn't as careful as I thought I was, and the color bled outside the image so I incorporated the bleed throughout.
My font pairings are Sentimental Too and Sweet Life,
The image is framed with patterned paper rectangle die cut with 2 frames, matted onto Pumpkin Pie then onto a vanilla base. Glossy accents were added to the branch, apple and large leaves.
Thank you for taking a peek at my card.

I love the effect you (accidentally) achieved with the color bleeding outside the lines. It's wonderful when we can transform a problem into a creative effect! Lovely card!

You keep practicing but don't worry about anyone not liking what you're already doing! This card is gorgeous! The apple is beautifully colored and the frame of Patterned paper around the panel really brings everything together with the other panels!
