I am just now entering this card into last week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge for the theme of "There's No Place Like Home." This card is going to fellow SCS stamper Dr. Sonja's mother, Annette, who recently moved next door to Dr. Sonja. Annette celebrated her 85th birthday in early July so this card is a touch birthday and a touch congratulations on a new home. The wood grain dsp represents the fence that is between Dr. Sonja's and her mother's houses. Even though I am terribly late for this Teapot Party, I simply had to make a card for Dr. Sonja's mother who is going through some major life changes with courage and humor. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.

Lovely card, Karen! Your flower is beautifully stamped and fussy-cut.

Oh, that new stamp set is gorgeous. Wonderful sentiment and wonderful diecuts you have used. I also think the pink check gingham adds such a nice background for your gorgeous bloom. Very creative use of the woodgrain to represent their fence! Well done.

Karen, this is so thoughtful and lovely. The woodgrain has such warmth and perfect for our happy gate! That rose is perfect pink for the gingham. I love all the details you included. Thanks for thinking of my mom! She will be delighted.

Sonja's mother sounds like the sort of person who lives by this, and I'm sure she'll love it. I love the upmarket country feel with the so-soft gingham and the woodgrain. The way you framed the sentiment inside the scallop looks super. As, of course, does the rose.
Thanks for the lovely pm...I was out all day yesterday so I'll reply layer today.

Beautiful, Karen. I love the combination of the homey woodgrain with the feminine gingham and of course that wonderful rose. Very nicely done for Sonja's mom.

Sorry I am late finding your card! I love the wooden sign look to this! Looks like the sign in front of an inn with beautiful roses climbing over it! Lovely card! Thanks for playing!
