Congrats to Beth, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the cactus in the desert theme, but I used different images, different colors & added a greeting. I also got a kick out of Beth's description of her card.
To make my desert scene, I stamped the Cowboy Cactus, masked it, then stamped the Broken Flower Fence around it. Makes it kind of look like the cowboys are out fixing the fence & left a hat & rope on the cactus. After coloring everything, I die cut it w/ a wonky stitched rectangle then added some clouds & a sunflower for the sun rays. The greeting is part of the Western Word Square & I used a wonky circle die to cut it.
Congrats again, Beth! Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ the inside & Copic colors: The Write Stuff

Great card, Julie! I love the cactus stamp and you've built the perfect scene with it. The "wonky stitches" are just the right touch because they remind me of a tangled rope.
Thank you so much for honoring me by playing along this week!
