I had so much fun making my card for Sandee's other Dare to get Dirty challenge that I went in the same direction for this one. My youngest DD is turning 16 on the 16th and she is a sweetie and probably the girlie st of my 3 girls. For my base I sprayed thru a stencil first in sheer then Rose. The back panel was painted with a thin coat of white acrylic. When dry I dry embossed and by mistake/happy accident I debased the painted side. I think it actually worked better with the sanding. At one point I grabbed the sandpaper I had used previously to create colored pencil shavings and some of the blue got onto the piece. I l I ved it so then I intentionally knocked more shavings around. I then spritzed with water and distressed the edges. I punched my oval, embossed the sentiment then die cut glittery numerals. I punched the dp and sponged with Soft Suede to distress them a bit then embossed her name to create my banner. The dressform is cut from a painted with Gesso canvas and again in paper. I dunked the bottom part in Versamark then embossed with an ep mixture that I use for old metal. Ella's more of a tulle.girl than a reader so instead of the book page I used last time I gathered some tulle and tied with silver cord.

What a great feminine, girly card Gail. And another super dress-form card. I have the TH one, which is a bit too big for a standard-size card so I don't use it as often as I should, but for sure I don't need another one. The stencilled piece is so beautiful.
