I am not gonna lie I am in love with this card. Congratulations to the Ways to Use It challenge on #700!!!! I went with a sand technique. I started with doing a leaf print with a black-eyed pea plant leaf. I then sanded my watercolor pencils in 3 shades of blue and violet onto the paper around the leaf. I used my water pen to add water. Once dry I went around the edge of the leaf with a Sahara Sand marker and used a Mellow Moss marker to add a little definition to the veining. I stamped and tore my sentiment piece and gave a wave thru some mint spray. This also meets Lee's Dare to get Dirty challenge in ways that I cannot divulge. If you want in on the fun join the Fan Club and check out the challenges!

The texture you ladies are getting from the sanding technique is awesome - I must go look it up! The idea of using a leaf for a mask is so creative, and you've recreated the leaf beautifully! I also love the way you met the challenge - you almost fooled me... ;)

The sanded pencil gives wonderful soft texture which looks great with your leaf. It almost looks as if it were floating in water and dissolving into it.
