The only thing that makes this card a 2 in difficulty instead of 1 is that it takes a little thought in choosing which piece to cut from the laser paper and where to place it on the card. It's all so beautiful!

Welcome to Splitcoaststampers, Sherrie! It's wonderful to have you here, and congratulations on your first upload! What a beautiful card, and I agree that it must have been difficult to cut into this beautiful paper and to find the best part to use. I love your color combination and the beautiful sentiment!
I just know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Here is a link that explains them, Challenges 101. And of course, as a SU! demonstrator, you have so many great resources to help you. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work!
P. S. You might want to click HERE for a post full of helpful information. And this is about How To Share Your Art in the Gallery. Lots of great information.

When I've looked at this paper I felt like I would never be able to cut it up! I'm sure that IS the hardest part. But you seemed to choose the prettiest bits of it for this card! Love the colors and the pattern you stamped on the base.

Nancy, we are now a house divided {YIKES}. My husband actually grew up in Auburn. Went to Auburn Elem. thru Auburn University. EVERYONE in his family has gone to Auburn. EVERYONE! they have deep roots there. HOWEVER, he found no harm in taking our daughter on a tour at Bama because "surely she would NEVER choose THAT school". However, they recruited her hard and won her heart, now in her second year and loving it. It was painful for my husband but she is thriving and that school is exactly where she needs to be (he will not deny). We still love life on The Plains but we may never have a child there (my youngest is now in the search and says Auburn is too big for her liking). Luckily I'm from Texas so its easy for me. I can just stick up my thumb and say "Gig 'em!" hehe!
