I made this card for Sonja's mother, she moved next door and thought this was a cute house to make an easel card with, I don't got this die but a friend send me this die cut I traced around and made the easel shape, die cut the fence and fold it double to glide it under the house to make it stand up, on the picture I forgot to fold it back..., I scored a path and glued roses on the sides put lace behind the windows and sponged the house with wax crayon, added the doorknob with a brad wrote the house number computer generated the home sweet home sentiment
And of course there's the key to open the door...

I imagine her house looking just like this! So cute and cozy and filled with love. Love that you personalized it with the # and that it's easy to display.

Anita, what a fabulous die and totally sweet easel card that you made with it. I just love the little key hanging outside for a friend to let themselves in - and the garden is so sweet. What a beautiful card.
The key reminds me of the time my autistic nephew was coming to stay. I was lying on the couch in the sitting room, but didn't see the taxi because it didn't pass the window. Next thing was a phone call from my brother asking me was I there because Chris couldn't get in. Well - he hadn't rung the doorbell...and as we live in the city and not the country as he does, I keep the front door locked mostly and I certainly don't leave a key handy . So I went out and let him in, and next time he knew to ring the doorbell.

Anita, this is beyond charming. I was so hoping you would be inspired to make a folding card. My mother adores to admire the mechanisms and details. She will cherish this, with her street number and the friendly key! Oh, my, such loving touches. - yes, now that we are neighbors so easy to pop right in (Her favorite is weekend brunch-I bring the eggs and bacon hot off the stove- simple but as she says "It tastes so much better when someone else cooks!")

Oh my goodness Anita, you thought of every possible detail to include in this oh-so-adorable easel card. I just love this and I know Annette will too. The little roses are such a great touch on an already detail-filled card. How fun! ~Karen.

Oh my goodness Anita what a super cute die cut and your tracing to create the easel card is fantastic. Really beautifully put together for a welcome to your new home card. Really love the little flowers lining the sidewalk too.
