Here is my card for Nancy's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. I've combined it with Diane's sketch. It was a tough sketch to get quite the right shapes and sizes, but I think I did stay true to the sketch.
This card is for one of my best friends. Our girls nights generally include tacos, so when I got this freebie from "Hey Let's Make Stuff", I knew I had to use it for her birthday card. I wanted that back panel to have a princess kind of feel, so I made my own stencil by stamping crowns all over the cardstock and cutting it with my ScanNCut. They kind of look like stars at first glance, or falling leaves, but I kind of like the abstract look to them. You know how I can't leave anything without tracing or doodling, so I traced around a few of the crowns to make them pop a little more and finished off with some gold metallic paper to add to the royalty.

I love the whimsy of this card, and that starts with the crown stencil you made. The bright colors follow right through - Great job!

Cute & funny! Terrific take on the sketch; you did great! Glad you kept with it. Love the stenciled background. I saw crowns right away, especially since I read the sentiment first. The gold panel is awesome for the royal treatment. Fun card for your taco girls night friend! TFS
