I can't play the drums very well (can't multi-task) but I sure can dance. This creation went in a different direction from my intent but I like it. I trimmed off those two thin pieces to make it be 5x5 when mounted and I couldn't throw them away, so now they're drum sticks. I doodled a bit to mimic the doodling on the sentiment stamp. I had trouble with Brit & Co. so I hope that this link works for my inspiration: https://images.britcdn.com/wp-conten...00&auto=format
If not, it's the pillow that shows up on the 'things that Leos need to have.' I'm a Leo so of course, I chose that.

Love the contemporary look of your card...and very clever using "scraps" to be drum sticks. Your sentiment is a good one too to go with your musical theme.

Beautiful, Jean! I love the wavy bands of color & the splatter of gold is wonderful. I can't play drums, either, lol. A lot of other instruments, not drums.

A fellow Leo! Well done capturing the essence of the inspiration piece and still making your card an individual piece with the doodling and drumsticks. Love the color layering and the shimmery gold flakes!
