This is a sample for the Color Challenge: Garden Green, Lemon-Lime Twist and Poppy Parade with dessert - Christmas in July. This year, I have been diligently searching my stash for things to use on my cards and I found a beautiful Stampendous image sent to me from Ann ~ Annsforte3. It was excellent for these colors. I did use a few neutral browns in order to accurately represent the scene, although I did my best to prominently use the challenge colors. I used Lemon Lime Twist on the window shutters and diluted LL Twist in the windows. After coloring with a blender pen and aqua painter, I applied Glass Bead Glitter Gel which I learned about from Karen ~ Art Deco Diva. I used it on the berries, tiny bit on the pinecones and a lot inside the oval, such as on the rooftop, the top of the fence posts, the snow drifts. This gel looks awesome over sponged color, but I thought I'd try it as glistening snow. Although not as spectacular on the white, it really sparkles and adds lovely texture. I layered the panel on poppy and garden green. The finishing touch was a corner punch and a rhinestone. TFL

This is one of my favourite Christmas images Diane! Thank you so much for the detailed description of how you made it. I need to punch my versions up a little and I haven't heard of Glass Bead Glitter Gel. I will be on the look out for that! Your colouring is fantastic! I really like the punched corner detail! TFS
