For Karen's super fun technique challenge-collage stamped background.
Like Karen, I first started with taping the CS down with tape to make a white border, which is something I rarely do, and Karen does so often and so well.
Stamped a variety of images and patterns, then blended/sponged on SU sea foam & Dew Drop wheat chaulk ink. Stamped the bridge & sentiment in black Versafine.
As I gently removed the tape, some of the paper came off with it. I trimmed the border down from 1@ to 1/2", but still have a bit of frayed area. Alas, it adds to the vintage feel I was going for! I'll definitely try this again, but will invest in low tack tape.
Fun way to use a multitude of stamps!!
I used a total of 15 stamps

I've had that trouble with tape too :-(, so frustrating. I got some great stuff in an art shop near work, now sadly closed. Your background is amazing, so rich and detailed. I especially love the rayed sun and the little cones ( are they Christmas trees?) - they go so well with the architectural structure of the bridge.

Oh Jeannie, this card is simply glorious! With the bridge going into infinity and this wonderful sun stamp you used, this card honestly does have the feeling of "the sky is the limit" which is so neat. Your white framing around your collage stamping truly brings your eye to all the wonderful stamping you did. I am not one to do this type of stamping, but I think you may have inspired me to give this a go now! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration! ~Karen.
