A birthday card for a dear friend who loves horses. I had started a bench card a few weeks ago, but didn't know how I would incorporate a horse in such a card, but then decided to have him in a field outside. The drawers were sponged around the edges and mounted on dimensionals. A small circle punch created the knobs. The tablecloth is a piece of die cut computer paper. I added stickers for the cake and balloons. It took me all week, but my next bench card will go faster.

What a great way to incorporate a horse into this special card for your friend. I'm sorry it took you so long, though. It was the thinking of how to decorate it that was the lengthy part for me. I like the way your drawers are up top...that would be so practical in real life...like eye-level ovens. The cake and balloons make for a great birthday celebration. And folds always go faster the second time, I find. Unless I leave such a long gap before trying something new again that I might as well be starting from scratch, sigh....
