I wanted to reassure myself that the bench fold card which I featured as this week's TLC was not too complicated. Less than 8 minutes last night to cut and score all the pieces for the base. This morning before work I stamped the front (and scored along the plank lines) and did some quick stamping, printing and colouring. And added DP to the top part of the card. Finished in time for the early bus to work because I was on overtime, and in work I was able to do all the fussy cutting.
Got home and all I had to do was stick it all together. To add some interest to the bench surface I made a miniature book. Nothing written inside yet, but there are four blank pages. There's one magnet between the top cover and the marbled "end-pages", and another magnet stuck under the desk surface which holds it closed and to the desk. I added a little dish of Prills birdseed for the birds.

Sabrina, this card is totally awesome! I love all the homey touches - the books, the cat, the birds and plants. I love the dimensional items on the desk. I certainly hope my second attempt at this fold will go as fast as yours did.

Love those sneaky birds grabbing a snack while the kitty naps! What a fun scene. You are right, it is not a difficult fold to build-most of the effort goes into planning and executing the scene. Which you did beautifully on your way to work this morning!
