Preparing for Christmas and a sneak peek I did from a blog post yesterday. I painted with flower and leaves and once finished as I don't have a die for this flower I ran it through my Scan'NCut. I did the background with an old stencil using Shabby Shutters and stamped the greeting in a Ranger Archival ink called Library Green. I finished the card with a patting of glimmer paste and a few sequins. There are more details and a closeup in this post.
Thanks for looking. aplaceforkia

WOW! Kia, I got your blog email a bit earlier and saw this card -- mouth dropped! It's gorgeous, and I love how you've colored it and then used your Scan'N Cut! Your watercoloring is so beautiful, and you always inspire me. Thanks so much for sharing process in your blog post. I really love reading that. The background is gorgeous and has such a softness so as not to take away for your gorgeous poinsettia! STUNNING card, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo

Love the way you coloured the poinsettia! It's beautiful cut out like that - great dimension. I have the stamp and might have to try fussy cutting it now that I've seen your card.
