I love this challenge!! I found an old curtain the same as behind my picture and cut a square, glued it onto white linen, covered with gesso and as it's very hot here it dried quickly, painted with acrylic paint, blue, red orange yellow and green, the weird girl is stamped onto a left over from an alcohol marker marbling BG, colored it here and there with markers and white gel pen, sewed the black thread and buttons onto the paper glued the bow and stamped the stars.

Wow, Anita, your background is incredible. I pulled out some old lace but never imagined of doing anything like this - and I put it away again. Such a fun and happy card, full of the sunshine. We have rain here today.

I really like the weird girl with her pretty colors and patterns. That lacy background is awesome with the stamped stars and the stitching stretched out with the buttons at the ends (which is making me think of yo-yos for some reason). Maybe she is in a talent show!?
