Shaving cream backgrounds (again). Playing around with different looks for the same image and same basic card. Sentiment is computer generated.
Inside I put one of my favorite poems to use for encouragement:
God has not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives thro’;
God has not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
God has not promised
We shall not know
Toil and temptation,
Trouble and woe;
He has not told us
We shall not bear
Many a burden,
Many a care.
But God has promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the laborer,
Light for the way,
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.

No, Verda, I didn't paint that shadow in. The lighthouse shadow was already in the shaving cream. It is the reason I chose to use the lighthouse with this piece.

It is gorgeous and I love the sentiment and the poem also! The whole card is very dynamic and kind of sums up the poem very well...you did excellent work with this, Beverly!

Oh my gosh this is just beautiful. I don't know how you get the shaving cream to do what it does for you, but it is great. I also love the poem. I have copied it. It was just what I needed to hear. My neice of 31 years is in the hospital and we were just told she has terminal cancer. Thanks for sharing.
