Embellish? Oh boy did I embellish! Carey fun sketch was a great combo for Stacy's wicked fun VSN challenge! My tank of gas destination is the beach in Little Compton, RI. Well it's only about 45 minutes away. We went treasure hunting while we were there on Saturday. Found six pretty pieces of sea glass which was perfect to make this card. A friend asked me to make a wedding card for her cousin. She wanted it to be beachy. I told her my plan for this card and she asked for blue sea glass because it reminds them of their grandmother and a penny because pennies remind them of their grandfather. I think the card is even more special because I didn't have to add any fake shells or store bought sea glass. It all came from my trip to the beach! I tried to shape my piles into hearts but they're a little bit blobby. Can you see faint heart shapes? Also went a little bit rogue on the sketch Instead of that top strip, I put the stripe where the sand meets the water underneath the frame. And my frame was a bit big, so I had to overlap my embellishments. Thanks for two super fun challenges, ladies!

This is a perfectly beachy card,, filled as it is with your "finds". Love the sparkle paper, and the water/sand theme too, mf! Happy to be your neighbor in the gallery today! (I won't be watering today!)
