Pam is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and I have to thank her for providing three colors I probably would have never used together, and a dessert option that made me go beyond my stash! And lest you think I'm complaining, I adore these three colors together--so pretty and summer--and finding a perfect clip art coloring page was great fun!
This week's colors are Calypso Coral, Pineapple Punch and Pear Pizzazz, with the dessert option of Tropical Treats--Popsicles, Ice Cream, Drinks, Slushies, etc.
The base of my card is the new sunny color, Pineapple Punch. I used two different DS papers on this card--Yay! I'm trying to stop hoarding my stash of DS papers! I cut an offset circle in the Coral layer to show the Pear layer as a background for the drink. I found the digi for the drink on the Internet, printed it and colored it with Copic Markers, then cut it out with my Scan 'n Cut.
Since I don't have any greetings that go with this kind of beverage, I decided to create one on the Scan 'n Cut. It was a struggle, but I finally persevered and got the greeting drawn with a Sharpie that is about the right color, and even created a shadow layer for the greeting! A few Nuvo Crystal Drops finished off the card.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week! These colors are really fun!
Accessories: Inside and Out Stitched Circle Dies (MFT), Copic Markers, Scan 'n Cut, Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow and Bottle Green, orange Sharpie

Well, I give you big chops dear friend for going to such lengths (since I was lazy and opted to flowers-what a surprise). Beautiful design, great use of the dsp and a fabulous beverage digi beautifully colored!

I really like your layout. That fun drink appeals to me right now, in this hot and humid weather. Think I'll have to make one later (a drink that is).
