"My courage always rises with every attempt to intimidate me." ~Lizzy Bennet Darcy
I know Selma isn't trying to intimidate anyone, but whooo boy, what a gallery. This was certainly a challenge for me, to be true to myself but make something rather worthy of her beautiful work. I chose this card: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...t=500&ppuser=9
This is my favorite card in her whole gallery, although there are some others that I liked as well. I tried to be as elegantly simple as possible. I layered three of the diecuts for stability and watercolored the top one, watercolored a sky behind the diecut, used a tree ef and gold embossed a few leaves on the trees. I changed around where the opening was and put the sentiment in a different place but I think you can see where I was going with this. Truthfully, I had no clue where I was going until it was done. I think I like it well enough but it sure felt like it was hard work.

Delightful! I have this ef. so I was thrilled to see how you used it for this landscape card. Love that little diecut colored so nicely with the cosmic shimmers and your gold embossed leaves and sentiment.
