I love the idea of living a simpler life. My husband is a highly sensitive person. Sensitive to noise, people, etc so out of necessity we live a simpler life than most of our friends! We have never lived to the end of our margins but there are areas I would like to live simpler. I think my craft room needs a CAS makeover but I don't know how to get there.
On the Do One Thing blog post, I noticed this: it is about living in balance. For my card, I used a balanced design, centering the thank you sentiment from a new stamp set by The Project Bin.
Toni, thanks for challenging us to honor National Simplicity Day!!! I enjoyed the links!

Oh, Angie, this is CAS elegance! I love the DP and the beautiful sentiment! Yes, very balanced. And I'm with you about living more simply. We too have never lived to the end of our margins and are thankful now that we are older. One of the ways I've started to purge my craft room is to reorganize what I have and find the "gems" that I forgot I had! Having things in their place really helps me, and I am finding I need less (especially as I find things and say, "ooh, I forgot about that!") Hehe! And I've been enjoying gifting stamps to others along with our card ministry at church, and that's been great fun! I think we need to have a "Clean and Purge Your Stamp Room Day." We could call it CAP it off! LOL! Hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo

I enjoyed the links too .
You always seem to make CAS so effortless, Angie. What beautiful paper, it goes so well with the stamped image. Love the peep of it inside too - that's something I'm not good at.

This is lovely. I have a brother who sounds like your husband. And my Dad was like that too, especially the noise piece. That maybe was because of WWII.
