Here is my combo of this week's tropical CAS challenge and this week's Featured Stamper and I'm caught up on the challenges I missed while I was on my Cape Cod mini vacation. I was a little stumped on the tropical CAS challenge, so I perused Mary's (redi2stamp) gallery for inspiration. When I found this card I remembered this hibiscus digi and thought it would look nice using the same colors as the rose on Mary's card. I love the sheet music in the background of Mary's card, so I started thinking about what could I print on the background of my card. My best friend got married on his husband's birthday, so I always send them a "Happy Birthiversary" card. They were married on the beach on Martha's Vineyard twelve years ago and this poem was read at the ceremony. I think that makes this card pretty special, don't you? Thank you for the inspiration, Mary!

Fabulous! The hibiscus flower is gorgeous. Love how you personalized your card with a unique sentiment and the wedding poem in the background. Wonderfully done with the inspiration from Mary's card and your own creativity. Love it. TFS

Lovely card with this pretty floral image but what makes it so special is that verse you have for the background. What a special saying and what a special friend you are!! (Love your story)

What a beautiful card. Love the hibiscus flower and you've colored is beautifully. The yellow background against the hot pink really gives a tropical vibe. Love the word background as well and the story that goes with it. Great card!
