This card is a belated birthday card for one of my eight sister-in-laws! I received inspiration from three SCS challenges and my sister, Heidi Gonzales.
#2. Ways to Use It: WT665 - 12/7/17 - "Distress It". . .create a card with some type of distressing technique. I used ink-sponged distressing, which gives a softens the look of the card and gives it an aged look.
#3. Free For All: F4A418 - 2/23/18 - "Recycle It". . .I used a recycled cork accessory pack sheet that I won at a stamp gathering several years ago. I didn't care for the flowers and symbols imprinted on the cork, so I turned it over and die-cut and punched my own flower layers.
#4. USEIT2018 - ongoing yearly. All my patterned papers, recycled cork, and pinking shears are really old. My sentiment die-cut has never been used, but has been hanging around my die-cut stash for two or more years!

What a fun card! Love all of the distressed layers, the cork flowers and the colors! I am sure your SIL will love it as well! Hugs and so thrilled you shared this with us and were able to put those unloved items to use :-)

Great idea with the cork flowers, Carlene...very pretty. I like the fishtail banners, too. It's a wonderful birthday card and one sure to be loved by your sister-in-law.
