I wanted to use butterflies for this technique challenge, but they wouldn't work at the bottom of my strips, so I put them at the top instead. I wanted to add some dimension and so I ink blended the edges of the strips and butterflies. I added a little bling by using clear rhinestones for the butterfly bodies. I didn't have a stamp with the sentiment I wanted and it worked so well on my American Flag card for the color challenge this week that I decided to use my Silhouette Cameo and create my own sentiment. This times I printed it in grey because the color scheme was soft colors and I thought black would be too stark.
This was a fun challenge and I loved the way it turned out.

I reckoned the only way I could have got butterflies to work was putting them at the top like this... and I think it works better as a concept too, because they seem to be flying out from the strips. What a lovely sentiment, and the textured card looks just great.
