I think I got my colors a little rustic so, I went for vanilla instead of white. as simple as this looks I did spend over an hour threading that burlap through the holes of the die. ( partially from the shred and partially because, this is a double sided printed paper and the other side is teeny tiny polka dots that are the same size as the threading holes the die makes lol... The banner is up on foam pop dots so, this has a little dimension in real life. thanks for this challenge Stef, & tfl.

Wonderful patriotic card! I do admire your determination in threading the string thru all those holes!

Stacy, this star with your painstaking stitching has such a beautiful, rustic Americana look to it, I just love it! And what a great way to honor those that served.

Amazing! I love this card - first your sentiment is perfect! I love the stitching that you put on the star - and the papers you used is perfect!

Love your big elongated heart and it looks so great with the stitching, which I don't have the patience to do so I avoid those kind of dies, and admire those who do. Love the way the sentiment is placed. Great card.
