I really enjoyed creating this card and envelope! I saw Kristina Werner doing such beautiful envelopes that I thought I should add a bit of pizzaz to mine!
I started with cutting a heart from copier paper (remember when that used to be called “typing paper”?!?) to use as a mask. I applied Tombow liquid adhesive to the heart sparingly and let it dry, creating a repositional mask. Then I went to town with my Momento Inks. I love using my Momento Inks. For me they blend every bit as well as TH Distress Inks (probably better) PLUS they are terriffic for stamping (while the TH is not). I do however use the dickens out of my TH/Tonic stamping platform. (A gift from DH!) On this card, I stamped my sentiment in black, then (after cleaning the stamp) stamped in Versamark and Used clear ep. I often use my platform for that trick so I don’t have to have a load of colored ep. Thanks for looking, and reading my ramblings and rantings!

Such pretty colors for your sponging and love the masked heart with your verse. Great to do the envelope, too. I like to sponge with Memento, also.
