I just purchased my first Daniel Smith watercolors, and had to try them out today. I've never used 'tube paint' watercolors before, just the cake type, so this was a new experience. I need to practice, but it was fun, and I really enjoyed the process.
After painting, I fussy-cut the flowers and added them to my A2 white card, along with some patterned paper for layering. I added the die and embossed panel, and some sparkling crystals by Studio Katia.
I was inspired by this photo from the Hayneedle catalog in this week's Inspiration challenge.
Card details, stamps, and technique are on my blog at Paper Arts Cafe.

Beautiful cut flowers and they really pop against that darker background. I love the dew on your flowers. Good job with your inspiration, Lynda.
