For some reason I was unable to access the Hayneedle site but having spotted the poppy image and having only just bought the poppy digi from Power Poppy I didn't really need to look. After colouring I masked off the digital image, which was a tad tricky, and then sponged and stamped with Distress Oxide inks. Having coloured the centre of the poppy I then decided to add Stickles for some texture and sparkle. Black and clear gems added to the right side of the frame.

Oh wow! Janine, this is gorgeous. I see why you had to use that poppy wall art. And, I'm glad you did. Your poppy is gorgeous with that dark center and the background is beautiful. All the wildflowers in the background are sooooo pretty, too. Wonderful framing. I like the added gems. You aced the inspiration and looks as if you had as much fun as I did with it. I would definitely have this in my faves Sunday but I won't be around.

I meant to say, Janine, that others from the UK couldn't access Hayneedle, either. I'm sorry...didn't know that would happen.

Oh, Janine!! This is gorgeous, and I found the piece that inspired you. It's here, and you've nailed it! Your coloring is amazing, and I love how you've used Oxides around the poppy! The center is beautifully done, and I'm sure with the Stickles that it has some sparkle! Beautifully done and framed, sweet Janine! You are amazing, and I'm thrilled you've used this digi. I still have to get "into the groove" one of these days!! Hugs and love! xoxo

Wow, Janine! This card is awesome with the beautiful coloring of the gorgeous poppy! I love the addition of other florals in the background. The black center of the poppy really stands out with the black frame! Love this awesome card, Janine!

What a stunning orchid you've created, and the background turned out beautifully. Layering the panel on the black card base really acted to add vibrancy to it. Totally gorgeous card Janine!
