However, I didn't have a gel printing plate. Amazon Prime to the rescue! FYI - Whenever you order from Amazon be sure to go on SCS home page first and use the Amazon link so that SCS will receive rewards to support the site and the volunteers. Thanks!
To make my card, I inked up one half of the butterfly to do the print. Afterwards, I stamped off the butterfly. For the technique, the image is first stamped on the gel plate and then on the paper, so you have a mirror image. Since this butterfly is symmetrical, I could line up the two halves into one whole. Very cool.
Linking up my card for Cathy's WTUI Challenge - Summertime Fun. During the hot summer months, my schedule is relaxed. I enjoy trying new techniques and staying in my air conditioned craft room. That's my summertime fun! TFL

What a super technique and one I haven't tried. Your butterfly is a beauty.

What a Beautiful butterfly for your inspiration! I love the colors you used here and how you color blocked half of the butterfly and colored the stamp for the other half! Very creative!
