I'm from MN and today I learned that my neighbor's flower (Wisconsin) is a wild rose.
I am also continuing to celebrate with Shery Russ and her Stamplorations crew (celebrating 5 years), by participating in their birthday celebration. I was inspired by Stephanie's card here. I liked the layout for her coffee card but went a little different direction for the stamp, style, etc.
Stamped the coffee cup/flower on a piece of cs slightly smaller than my card front, and colored with copics. I also stamped the bottom portion of the stamp on some watermelon pp so I cut around the base of the cup (kind of reverse paper piecing!). Adhered the pp strip, stamped the top sentiment, and then the happy birthday on a white cs strip. Attached the white strip and popped up the panel with dimensionals.

Lovely coloring, Maura. The highlights on th e coffee cup and roses are gorg Roy's. We gave some wild roses in our yard that are just that color. The red dot dp is the perfect choice to go with your pretty cup of flowers.
